We have also carried out a full condition report on the complete mechanical and electrical services installation in 2016, to establish the condition and life expectancy of all plant and equipment. The refurbishment and extension of Fitzwilliam Lawn Tennis Club works included removal of all redundant mechanical and electrical services and the erection of third floor and roof structure. The club was kept live during works, as we provided M&E design services to the phased fit out works of the 2nd floor including kitchens, bars and restaurants. These phased works facilitated the transitional arrangements of the 2nd floor, whilst the works were continuing on with the other floors, to complete an overall refurbishment and extension Project. With the knowledge of the FLTC premises, we were acutely aware of how complicated the phasing of the scheme would be to create minimum disruption to areas such as the kitchens, changing rooms and the swimming pool complex, whilst maintaining the live mechanical and electrical services, such as boiler heating and water plant and main power supplies throughout the construction period, as well as upgrading the existing services.
