Aparthotel for Hilton Curio, Milton Road Cambridge, 162 bedroom inclusive of leisure facility. Complete 2020.

 

Dynamic Design Consultants were appointed as part of the design and build team to design the entire MEP services installations for this prestigious hotel near the centre of Cambridge which included 162 guestrooms, a fully functioning gym, swimming pool, steam rooms, sauna and meeting rooms. The MEP services included the heating and ventilation, plumbing and drainage systems, general/decorative/emergency lighting, mains LV distribution system, general small power (including smart room technology), audio/visual systems, security systems and life safety systems, including sprinkler, fire alarm, smoke ventilation secondary emergency power installations.

 

DDC worked closely with the other members of the design and client teams, to ensure the MEP services were incorporated in a discrete fashion to compliment the detailed interior design whilst still being an environmentally friendly design which was fully compliant with the Building Regulations, British Standards, design guides and codes of practice and Hilton Brand Standard.
